What is AFM?
A financial modeling certificate from the Financial Modeling Institute (FMI) in Canada. Its exam is practical.
What is the exam like?
4 hours, an empty Excel file, and a complete financial model you build from scratch.
Where is it recognised?

I have CPA or CFA. Why AFM?
CPA strengthens accounting and audit, and CFA goes deep in analysis and investment. AFM takes you from reading numbers to building financial models that support real decisions.
About the course
How long is the AFM course?
36 hours, one live Zoom lecture a week, over 2.5 to 3 months.
Is it online?
Yes, live on Zoom, and every lecture is recorded.
What if I miss a lecture?
Every lecture is recorded, so you can return to it any time.
Do I get files to practise on?
Yes, Excel files with every lecture. TMP has more than 12.

About TMP and the other programs
What does TMP cover?
Treasury's role in a company, liquidity management, cash flow analysis, bank facilities and credit, letters of guarantee, letters of credit and foreign trade, financial risk management, treasury models in Excel, and interview preparation.
What language is TMP in?
Arabic, with finance terms in English.
Is the TMP certificate verifiable?
Yes. It carries a documented serial number and can go on LinkedIn.

Booking
I live outside Egypt. Can I join?
Yes. Students join from Saudi Arabia, Yemen and other Arab countries, and lectures are timed for the region. For example, one round ran at 9 pm Egypt, Saudi, Yemen and Sudan time, which is 10 pm UAE time.
